Showing our love and support for our Kiwanis, I found myself and many other Key Clubbers at the July 30th Kiwanis DCM. We helped set up and take down furniture as well as pass out items during speakers’ presentations. One of the items we helped pass out was a red and gold ribbon while Linda Marx, President of the Greater Henderson Kiwanis spoke of the Check Your Seats in the Heat campaign. This project, which opposes children and pets in vehicles on hot days, is a joint project between the Greater Henderson Kiwanis and our Basic Key Club. Everything was more fun than work though as we got acquainted with the people who attended from all around Nevada.
